Finney Hospitality Group to Donate Portion of Beer Sales
Bloomington, IN – June 3, 2024 – Finney Hospitality Group, owner of four local restaurants and The Tap Brewery, is thrilled to announce a new initiative that directly benefits our local communities and our dedicated team members. Beginning on Saturday, June 1, a portion of the proceeds from every Social Lager sold at The Tap, SmokeWorks Barbecue Co. and Social Cantina will be donated to local charities in the communities we serve. This means that every pint of Social Lager enjoyed at our establishments is a direct contribution to the betterment of our community. Guests can also participate at Yogi’s, where a portion of Tap Brewery beer sales will support this initiative.
Additionally, a portion of these beer sales will go into our FHG Employee Relief Fund, which helps Finney Hospitality Group team members in need. FHG currently employs over 500 individuals in Indiana.
This initiative is a testament to the vision and values of our late founder, Nathan Finney. Nathan’s unwavering belief in the power of giving back has inspired us to launch the “FHG CARES” initiative, a commitment to our communities that will endure in his memory.
“We’re thrilled to launch FHG CARES and contribute to the wonderful work being done by local organizations in all of the communities we serve, which include Bloomington, Indianapolis, Carmel, West Lafayette and Mishawaka,” said Chris Martin, President of Finney Hospitality Group. “Our communities have always been incredibly supportive of our brewery, and this is our way of giving back and saying thank you.”
The first charity in Bloomington to benefit from this program will be Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Central Indiana, an organization dedicated to supporting children in our local community. At the start of September, Big Brothers and Big Sisters will be presented with a check for beer sales from June, July, and August. In the coming weeks, FHG will work to secure charity relationships in Indianapolis, Carmel, Mishawaka and West Lafayette.
Guests of Finney Hospitality Group restaurants can look forward to enjoying Tap beers while knowing they are contributing to meaningful causes.
